Physics + Chemistry at the Heart of the Heart of the World
A Poetic Audio Collage
“We must bear the grief that there is no arrival. Only being found. Over and over again.”
—Shelly Tiemeyer | The painter of this vibrant work

This painting and others are available to view and to purchase.
To choose to return in all of my states
in sorrow,
boredom, and
shame
in longing,
fear, and
delight
when this heart aches.
Love has a way of
drawing all of me in,
astonishingly.
is resistance an ally?
in noticing the noticing,
already,
I am here.
wholly myself and One with all.
“Gradually, with each return, our trust builds, that there’s something or someone on the other side that we return to. We return into a relational field. The sacredness and the trust and the intimacy in that moment of return is what carries you through.”
—Cynthia Bourgeault / Q & A at “Holding Our Planet Wisdom School” in May 2025
I made this into a YouTube video with subtitles! Here it is.

“The heart of the heart of the world” is a phrase from Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that I encountered in a chant by Susan Latimer.
Teilhard’s revolutionary vision transcends the mental structure. It is nearly impossible to convey the particularity and Unity in which his vision is rooted and from which it radiates outward. If you wish to enter further, open to the possibility of experiencing his work beyond the conventions of language and theology.
I have gestured to it with my whole heart, though my attempts seem barely to contain an ounce of originary potency. This will not stop me from trying again.
Let’s Anchor Into Presence Together…
I’m glad you’re here!
My name is Kirsten. I accompany folks as they attune to their inner lives, holding questions no one else can answer for them and listening for what is emerging.
Soulspace is a spacious place to belong as you are becoming: to anchor amid the chaos, be seen and known, and make room for pain, longing, wonder, delight, and hope.
The Grounding + Becoming blog is a care package of audio and visual invitations and collaged essays about being human. If you feel a draw to embodied accompaniment, I hold space in person and online. Together, we listen deeply and explore rhythms and practices that help you ground what you sense.
