Little Connections begins: synchronicity, fathers, and becoming ourselves
I am excited to share something new I am creating with my friend Bernard.
Little Connections is a conversation series where two friends explore the spiritual in everyday life. In our first episode, we talk about synchronicity, fathers, friendship, and being ourselves through the lens of Kung Fu Panda 3.
What begins with Bernard watching the movie on a flight home, on the anniversary of his father’s death, opens into a conversation about ritual, calling, friendship, and the moments that help us step more fully into who we are.
Together, Bernard and I notice the tiny moments that feel ordinary until a divine breath briefly blows the heart open. We recognize and savor the felt sense of something else in the flow of friendship and conversation.
That is the spirit of Little Connections, and it is close to the heart of Soulspace, too.
In spiritual direction, we co-create an atmosphere of presence, space, witness, with-ness, trusting that wisdom will meet us through the ordinary material of our lives.
My name is Kirsten. In spiritual direction, I accompany folks as they attune to the inner dimensions of life. This way of being together is grounding and spacious. Together, we anchor into presence and a familiar flow of relating.
